Two strong teams of IPL 2018
collided yesterday at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Hyderabad. The show of
3 and half hour is awesome as audience witnessed so many ups and down. But one
person had attracted all audience with his bat. He is none another than Ambati
Rayudu from CSK. He proved his class and courageousness once again by hitting
50 runs in just 27 balls against SRH and reached scoreboard 182 in 20 overs.
CSK won the game by just 4 runs against CSK. See the full match highlights
here:
Having experience of 100+ matches
in IPL, he came into half way when CSK’s score is 32/2 in 7.1 overs. Rayudu
understood the situations and started hitting very hard and change the tempo of
the CSK’s innings. Before he started to smash the ball, the run rate was just
around 6; once he smashed boundaries and getting 10-20 runs per over; the run
rate was around 12. He smashed 79 in just 37 balls while he took 27 balls for
50 and other 29 runs in just 10 balls. This was his 15th half-century In IPL.
Unfortunately, he was run out and
his inning was finished and couldn’t make a century. But when he returned back
to the pavilion; all the CSK fan were cheering up for him.
“Rayudu has been fantastic. One
of the questions was where do we play him? And I have seen him bat up the order
at No. 3. Whenever he plays the big shots, he maintains shape, which is very
important. He can bat at all numbers, but I’d prefer to see him opening, where
he looks very dangerous.” Said MS Dhoni.
